Long time since I did this! Life has taken many strange twists in the intervening period and I think I may try to make sense of things by blogging.
The project was well received, the site has been developed and looks really professional now, the content is getting there and the challenge of making the staffroom work for our tutors is now very real. However, my working week is now regularly 40+ hours and my management are very good at pretending to be unaware of the demands of the challenge in hand, although very ready to take the plaudits. What a cynic I've become!
I know my Dad would have been so proud if he had lived to see what I've achieved but I just think I'm the fool as my family miss out, as do I, when I'm tired, unhappy and overwhelmed.
I need to make sense of this experience and either put it on a CV and look for another job or get on with working alongside a long awaited project manager and delegate more of the job to her.
I'll get back to you and let you know where this goes next!
